Our espresso combines the world’s best beans with expert blending and roasting. The result is a rich and creamy esspresso, with a strong aroma and a dense and persistent cream.

 

Straight Espresso

Dark, strong coffee made by forcing steam (or hot water) through finely ground, Italian-roast coffee especially blended for making espresso. This form of brewing produces a thin layer of creamy, dark beige froth on the coffee's surface. Served in a tiny demitasse cup.

LifeSpring is proud to serve Aviva yerba mate, a remarkable South American tea-like beverage that is exceptionally nutritional. Known as the national drink of Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina, yerba mate is brewed from the leaf of small evergreen tree native to the subtropical highlands.

We serve it brewed in a French press or brewed like espresso in a Mate latte. Or, try yerba mate infused with the flavors of lavender, ginger-peach, chai and passion berry. We also offer the traditional gourd cups and bombilla straws used by South Americans to drink yerba mate.

Deemed "the drink of the gods by many indigenous groups, it possesses the unique ability to wake up the mind without the nervousness and jitters sometimes associated with coffee. It is also a healthy alternative, containing antioxidants more powerful than those found in green tea and saponins that stimulate the immune system.

Each infusion of mate also contains vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, Niacin (B3), B5 and B complex, calcium, manganese, iron, selenium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, fatty acids, chlorophyll, flavonols, polyphenols, trace minerals, pantothenic acid and 15 amino acids.
